In similarity, I mean in terms of the hugely fun cartoonish 2D graphics. Both characters and monsters are generally depicted in cartoonish form. In fact, monsters are of the more... cute variety, i.e. mushrooms, slime and even pigs, at least at first.<br /><br />Like in all RPGs, Maple Story provides multiple base <span style="font-style: italic;">classes</span>, with potential to specialize in several <span style="font-style: italic;">jobs</span> for each class. Moreover, the world of Maple Story is rather large, with many, many individual maps to play in.<br /><br />Most importantly, of course, <span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Maple Story is free (both in terms of software and subscription fees). </span></span>That is cool. Of course, a <span style="font-style: italic;">cash shop</span> is available.
